In October 2012 Trevor Pitt embarked on his YARNING project by taking a road trip across the UK to document personal histories of crafting with yarn.


The road trip will inspire the devising of a new performance piece that will premiere in 2015 at mac Birmingham as part of a season curated by Craftspace that explores craft through its history and story located in everyday lives.

In collaboration with theatre producer Pippa Frith, Trevor will develop the recorded stories to create a piece that can be readily toured and performed in a variety of spaces, including; theatres, art centres and community venues.
